The Ellery

We acquired this unique development opportunity in 2021 with the goal of redesigning the building to be in a position to meet Boston’s aggressive sustainability goals. The property sits at the base of Millennium Park in one of Boston’s best neighborhoods with quick access to both Longwood Medical and suburban employment centers such as Moderna’s Norwood campus, but presented some unique redesign and transit issues. We successfully redesigned the building to include onsite solar generation, cool pavement and 100% electrification while finalizing permits in less than one year. Upon finalization of permits, the project was sold in 2022 and is currently under construction.
